One of ORGANATURE’S founders, Peter, was diagnosed with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) in 1993. Peter was forced to give up work as a result. When they were researching MCS they discovered that many people are unknowingly allergic to many things, such as perfume deodorant, soap powders and more (due to the chemicals they contain). Sufferers can feel tired, experience difficulty breathing, have asthma like attacks and get rashes or other allergic reactions. It is quite common for people to be suffering from allergies or chemical sensitivity without realising the cause.
To help Peter, they decided to make their own range of Organic Cotton Products, Mattresses, Futons and Toxic Free Hardwood timber furniture to improve his quality of life. They knew that other people would get tremendous benefit by using them too, so now they make them available direct to the public through the shop and showroom in Newhaven Victoria and also online.
